Program

The program for LOEX 2025 has not yet been finalized. It will use last year's program as a building block (e.g., a plenary session for all attendees to kick-off the conference on Friday, followed by numerous 50-minute long breakout sessions; dine-arounds at local restaurants in the evenings).

More details will be forthcoming by February 7th (once breakout session proposal acceptances go out).

Thursday, May 15 (All times Pacific)
12:30 - 7:00 p.m.                .Registration & information (at Pasadena Convention Center)
1:00 - 4:00 p.m.                   Optional: Pre-Conference Workshop (additional fee; at Pasadena Convention Center)

Afternoon                            Optional: Group Visit to USC Pacific Asia Museum (additional fee; exact time being finalized)

3:15 - 4:00 p.m.                   Optional: First-time attendee orientation   

4:00 - 6:00 p.m.                   Meet & Greet (at Pasadena Masonic Temple - very close to the Convention Center)

                                               - Games, roundtable discussions, catch up w old friends, meet new ones, and more while having light snacks (e.g., salsa                                                 and chips; crudité). 

Early evening                       Dine-arounds at Pasadena restaurants (optional; access options via attendee wiki; not as many as Friday, but a few)  

Friday, May 16 and Saturday May 17 (All times Pacific)

- This is still being developed, but we will use last year's program as baseline. All Friday and Saturday activities are planned for the Convention Center (except for Friday evening dine-arounds)
