Underrepresented Groups Scholarship
The LOEX 2022 Conference Committee, with the support of the LOEX Director, has reserved at least one PAID registration for a librarian or library school student who is a member of an underrepresented group and/or who has done significant work to bring library services or information literacy opportunities to underrepresented groups. Each scholarship recipient will also receive a dfdfs travel/lodging stipend of $250. Any additional conference-related expenses are the responsibility of the recipient.
Interested librarians and graduate students currently enrolled in ALA-accredited MLIS programs are strongly encouraged to apply. To apply, please send:
- A current CV, including number of years in the profession
- A 500-word essay describing your interest in information literacy services
